  1. What is Online Filing Services Portal and which services are rendered through it?
    It is a constant endeavor of Govt. of Punjab, Department of Industries & Commerce, Punjab to render state-of-the-art and hi-tech facilities to the Industry in Punjab for speedy delivery of services. The Online Filing Services Portal is one of the steps in this direction which allows online submission of application and tracking of its status. This facility is initially being introduced in District Industries Centre (DIC), Ludhiana and would be extended to other DICs across the state soon.
    As of now, you can apply online for under mentioned services being rendered by DIC, Ludhiana:
    1. Entrepreneur Memorandum Part-I (Provisional Registration of Small Scale Industry)
    2. Entrepreneur Memorandum Part-II (Permanent Registration of Small Scale Industry)
    3. Registration of Society
    4. Financial Assistance under Prime Minister Employment Guarantee Programme (PMEGP)
    5. Transfer of Plot in Industrial Estate
    6. Certificate of Approval for Mining Contract
    7. Industry Related Grievances

    In addition to above services, online Return Filing Services as under are also available to registered entrepreneurs:
    1. Annual Production Return of LArge Medium Units
    2. Annual Return of Export Benefits
    3. Monthly Production Return of Small Scale Industry
  2. What is the procedure to avail online services?
    To avail online services being offered by District Industries Centre, you have to register first yourself to this portal. That means, you have to create your account and then using that account you can avail online services.
  3. Why and how to register on the portal?
    To avail online services you have to register on this portal otherwise you cannot access online services. To register on this portal, click on the link “Register here” given on Home Page of Online Filing Services Portal
  4. How to track online application status?
    If you are a registered member of the portal then you can check detailed status of your applications after logon to the system and if you just want to verify the status of an application then you can do this using “Application Verification” feature available on home page of the portal.
  5. How do I get my account details/password?
    On successful completion of Entrepreneur Registration form, immediately a confirmation email along-with your account password is sent on the email address you provide us in the registration form
  6. What if I do not receive Entrepreneur Registration Confirmation email from the portal?
    if you do not receive your registration confirmation e-mail, please check your junk mail/spam filter to ensure the mail reaches you.

    If you still do not receive the email even after couple of hours/days, you can request the portal to send you ‘Registration Confirmation’ email again. Remember, you have to send your request before your account is expired.
  7. How do I login to the Online Filing Services Portal?
    For login to the portal, take the steps listed under:
    1. Go to the Home Page of Online Filing Services Portal
    2. Go to the “Existing Entrepreneur: Login Here” panel.
    3. Enter the Login Id and password in the text boxes & click on Login Button

  8. I have forgotten my password. How do I log-in now?
    If you have forgotten forget your password, then you can request the system to send you your password again. System asks you about your credentials to identify you and then an email carrying your password is sent on your email id.
  9. What if I do not accept Terms & Conditions in user registration?
    If you do not accept the, Terms & Conditions of the portal, then you cannot register yourself on the portal. That means, you can not avail online services offered by the portal.
  10. What is e-Marketing Portal?
    The portal is an endeavor of the Government of Punjab, Department of Industries & Commerce to provide a common electronic platform to the industries in Punjab for facilitating promotion of business opportunities across India and overseas. The portal will help to increase the base of national and international buyers in Punjab.
    The portal is a business promotion platform which connects and brings buyers and sellers at a common point. It offers an opportunity to the supplier to demonstrate her products to millions of buyers, and offers plenty of choice to the buyer while buying a product.
  11. How to apply online for Industrial Clearances under Single Window System?
    The government of Punjab, the department of Industries and Commerce has launched a Single Window Industrial Clearance Portal to issue clearances by and large required from various government departments / agencies.

  12. What is Single Window Industrial Clearance Portal?
    Single Window Industrial Clearance Portal is an online service of The Department of Industries & Commerce, Punjab for submitting application for industrial clearances. This is basically One-Stop Information Centre for Industry Clearances, and provides a facility for Online Submission of the Composite Application Form (CAF). After submission of the CAF, the applicant can also track the status of CAF.
